I'm here in Toronto

I arrived here on 24th Feb. It was -7 deg. when I went outside first time. That was really something! I haven't experienced that cold before I came here, you know. But I'm glad that I'm finally got here although I miss everyone who lives in Japan. My school has started on Monday. I still haven't made many friends yet. I'm looking forward to seeing my old friends who live in Victoria and my friend from Japan who is coming to Vancouver from March 24th!

Other than those things, my host family in Toronto is nice and we chat a lot. There's another student from Korea. We talk in English but she's interested in Japanese culture so we easily got to know each other. She took me aronud city last Sunday. I was surprised with this city. Toronto is a huge and cool city! You can get everything you want and what is more, there are many people from all over the world and they exist equally, as everyone knows.

I hope that I can enjoy my life in Canada.
