My Grandparents

Today,I want to talk about my grandparents. To be honest, I don't remember my grandparents very well.They are passed away when I was baby. When got a this subject,I called my mom. My writing is based on what my mother told me over the phone.

At about the same time that Japan had conquered Korea, my grandparents were born. They couldn't go to school because of they were very poor. My grandfather had worked in mine since he had left his hometown. When he would get paid, he sent money home to support his family.

One day when he went to the food market where he had met my grandmather. He fell in love with her. There were limited places to live in Korea when they met. He proposed marriage to her. After that they were married in 1940.

Everyone likes him because of he is kind, family minded and generous. After their marriage, he opened a store. He did not have much experience at running a store.
