My Lovely Mother

My mother's name is Nobuko. She was born in Hyogo in 1948. Her father was from Hyogo and worked in financial company there. Her mother was from Osaka and had worked as 'Geisha' there. When he went to Osaka on business, he met her and they fell in love with each other. After they got married, my mother was born. She had been living in Hyogo until she was 6 year's old, and then she moved to Osaka with her family.

When she had graduated girls' high school, she entered the professional school of accounting. Her dream was to be a tax accountant like I had wanted to be. She was not able to realize her dream because her mother became sick with cancer and her father died while she was studying at that professional school. She had just one way to give up her dream and to work for her's and her mother's living.

She got a job with a Kimono company as accountant. After she quit the professonal school. When she joined the company, one of her co-workers asked her to go hiking to help cheer her up. She decided to join it for changing her mood. The co-worker also asked others friends, including my father, who worked in another company to go hiking together.

It was first time that they had met each other. A common hobby of partying and drinking, so they often went to pubs to drink and have fun. They fell in love with each other. They had gone out together for 1 year and engaged. When they engaged, her mother was getting worse, so they had to marry so quickly. After they got married, her mother died. But her mother must be happy because she could take part in their wedding.

She were troubled many times. So I want her to take a rest. I'm proud that I'm her child!
