"Friend" This word means...
Have you ever though about "Friend"? How many friends do you have? Maybe you can't answer directly if someone asked you. I'll tell you why you couldn't answer directly about those questions in conclusion.
Do you know what "Friend"means? In Korea, usually this word means a person who is very close to you and has a good relationship with you for a long time.
But, in my case, this word means "a lifelong friend". So, I never use this word irrespective of people, and I don't use this word without thinking.
I have three friends in Korea that I can use this word for openly. And I have many experiences that made a deep impression on me by my friends.
If you listen my story about my friends, you'll think about your friends again.
Now, I'll tell you about my experience.
In 1999, When I was a freshman in my university, I ran away from my house. (It's too difficult to explain why I ran away from my house)
So, there wasn't any place to sleep and there wasn't any money in my pocket. At that time, my friends who were in my university's dormitory gave me help. First of all, they censured me for my fault and gave me a place to sleep. I mean, they permited me to sleep in their dormitory room.
Some time later, I knew that they were even kicked out from the dormitory because of me.(Because, a dormitory inspector knew that my friends permited their room to the other person.)
And there is another experience.
On my birthday, they prepared some presents for my parents. They talked to me. "Do you know why we prepared presents for your parents? We'd like to thank your parents because, you couldn't born if your parents weren't here."
It was a deep emotion that I've never had. Have you ever met friends like these?
They are the pride of mine. And I want have friends like these in Toronto.
I think,we could be a really good friend. That is my wish.
And....I hope.....
